Description

Polyacrylamide emulsion is produced via the dispersion method or reverse phase emulsion polymerization, existing as a liquid form of polyacrylamide. It is a water - soluble polymer that contains a large number of amide groups (-CONH₂) in its molecular structure, and possesses excellent properties such as flocculation, thickening, and dispersion.

Features and Advantages

Since it has already been dispersed in water in the form of particles, it can dissolve in water more rapidly compared to dry powder products, making it particularly suitable for situations where quick application is required. It can be used directly after dilution as needed, without a complex preparation process, which reduces dust pollution and improves the working environment. The addition of an emulsifier enhances the product's stability during storage, making it less likely to degrade and extending its effective lifespan. It is widely used in fields such as water treatment, papermaking, textile printing and dyeing, mineral processing, and oil exploitation, serving as a flocculant, thickener, drag reducer, and so on. The amide groups in its molecular structure have strong adsorption capacity and can flocculate with suspended particles in water, enabling the suspended particles to settle rapidly and achieving the goal of water purification. The amide groups in the molecular structure have high stability, allowing them to maintain stable performance in salt solutions with higher concentrations and perform well in the treatment of saline water.
